We can host any number of people you wish to invite to this special day, and we feature several locations for your tent set-up. Located near downtown Augusta, Viles Arboretum is the perfect location for your special day, featuring indoor and outdoor spaces for any wedding format at competitive pricing. Community Forestry Collection
A beautiful grassy space with tall standing trees that let just the right amount of sunshine through. This garden features examples of tree species that are frequently planted in city, urban and rural settings along street ways, in median strips, town parks, parkways, and other community settings.
Trees featured in this garden:
Scarlet Oak is a regal, tall tree that turns a blazing scarlet in the fall season.
Northern Catalpa is a stunning, large leaf tree that provides shade in the spring and summer. It produces fragrant purple and white orchid-like flowers in the spring.
Honey Locust has unique, small petal-like leaves that turn a vibrant yellow in the fall and have fragrant white flowers in the spring.
White Oak is a rugged tree that has a highly defined bark structure and gorgeous limbs that silhouette beautifully.
Horse Chestnut has large leaves and gorgeous pink and white blossoms in the spring.
Education Center
Our enchanting timber-frame barn boasts large sliding doors that unveil a picturesque view of the Arboretum grounds. This space is perfect for hosting your ceremony, reception, or cocktail hour. Round tables and white folding chairs are included. There is electricity throughout the barn and there is one handicap accessible bathroom.
Viles Room
This space provides versatility for your wedding day, serving as an ideal location for wedding preparations. Whether it's your bridal party getting ready or your catering team utilizing the commercial kitchen, this room offers a range of possibilities. Rectangle tables and white folding chairs are included. There is a commercial kitchen and two private bathrooms.
